  1. This is very helpful, I appreciate the encouragement! Where did you attend grad school? I am wondering if some schools are more willing to accommodate than others. I plan on applying to a few, and then telling them my due date and seeing which ones will work with me. Thanks!
  2. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows anyone who was pregnant during grad school? I am trying to plan accordingly, and was wondering if grad schools will give you a semester off? I know it's uncommon but anyone with experience please share! Thanks
  3. Thank you for the advice! Do either of you know how clinic works as an online student? I know for many grad programs the grad students do clinic every semester, and they have their own clients and work on treating. So how do you do clinic as an online student? I believe a lot of them require on campus attendance during a summer, or some other time, but it seems like one summer isn't enough to get all the experience you need within clinic.
  4. Hi all, I am looking to hear from those of you who have attended any of these schools for SLP grad school. Idaho state, University of Montana, , Wyoming, Washington State, and Eastern Washington University. Some question I have specifically: 1. Do a lot of students receive funding? I will by an out of state resident and some of the schools listed don't offer to WGRP, so I will have to pay out of state tuition. I am wondering how likely it is to get it waived or get funding to help with the cost? I have competitive application: 3.98 GPA, 152 V 158 Q, 4.0 AW. 2. What are your experiences with the clinic? Do you feel like you are learning within the clinic and are becoming ready to be working on your own? 3. What is the major focus at your school? Thanks for all your help! I greatly appreciate it!
  5. Hello, I am looking to hear from those who are or who have been a distance GRADUATE SLP student. What was your experience like? I personally can do the traditional on campus student experience right now, but in a year my situation could change. Therefore I am wondering if it is smarter to attend a distance program from the very beginning. Do you feel like you learned the material well? or do you wish you would have had more of the on campus research experience, and clinical involvement? Thank you for your advice.
