I received one of the Fullerton emails today still waiting for something, anything, on Long Beach. Maybe some delay related to the transcript issues we both had with them?
-
When is your interview scheduled for? I had thought they were done and decisions might issue this week, but if they are still interviewing then I guess it’ll still be a while. Anxiously waiting for a decision, I called yesterday and they said it’ll be within a couple of weeks. I saw last years results had decisions starting around 3/19, and they were definitely staggered.

Same, mine was a clinical question we didn’t cover in my post bac as well.

All I could find for Chapman is this, they offer the majority of their students funding. https://www.asha.org/edfind/details.aspx?id=OR8S6shNbOwPsvbc0g25Zw==

Yea, the lack of response at all or ability to request a status report from CSULB is disconcerting. CSULB was near the top. Chapman would probably be ideal, if I can get some funding from them. It’s around 2x as much as a state school per year, so that makes CSUSM very appealing (also I did my post bac with them, I know a lot of the people in their cohort, and I know their faculty and the material they are building on for grad school, whereas Chapman’s writing sample question was about someone we didn’t address in the post bac). Chapman told me after my interview that decisions would be made shortly after an ASHA conference, but I haven’t been able to determine what conference they were referring to. I got an email from them last week, a thank you for the interview email, asking for patience while they make final decisions. Hopefully this week I don’t know what to make of the one Chapman acceptance from last week in the results thread. Maybe a mistaken entry? Shortly afterwards an interview with Chapman was also added.

Stay in California or explore New York?

Stockton isn’t amazing, but it’s an hour or so away from lots of fun stuff to do and see! -
Good luck to everyone who interviewed at CSULA yesterday! I’m just waiting to hear from Chapman post interview, I’m in the “no email” camp from CSULB and CSUF crowd so just waiting for an answer there. How is everyone’s interview seasons going? I’ve got an acceptance ag CSUSM, where I did my post-Bac, so no matter what happens with the rest, I’m so excited to be going to grad school in the fall

Nothing yet. I was surprised to see the acceptance, hoping for news soon! still not a peep from CSULB or CSUF either way. I was accepted to CSUSM after their difficult interview process, so no matter what I’m excited to be going to grad school in the fall!! How is your interview season going?
-
Thank you! Do you know if both interview offers and rejections will all go out Friday afternoon? Any advice you can offer on the interviews (will it be a group interview on the 23rd, or individuals all set on the same day?). How do you like the program?
-
Same question! Waiting to hear back. Looks like Chapman may be wrapping up interviews this week too.

Thanks!!

CSULB, Chapman, and San Marcos are the top picks What about you?
-
They only started calling at like 4pm. They probably have more calls to make tomorrow. It’s not over yet! I 100% agree about the interview though!
-
Thanks! Not yet. Interviewed with Chapman today tho. Decisions still pending from CSULB, Fullerton, and SDSU.
-
Just got my admission to CSUSM!!
-
Anybody get anything today? Nothing on the results page from CSUSM today. Anxiously waiting and hoping!
-
It also seems to me that a rejection may also indicate that no decision was entered yet. Hard to tell, but hopefully that is the case?
-
Thank you!!

Congrats on going 3 for 4 with interviews! How was the Chapman interview? Mine is tomorrow

No idea, I’m hoping the decision showing up on the portal is a bug and not a premature sending of the final decision. The email I got, and a subsequent email, makes it sound like a bug.

I just got an email from SDSU, they apparently had an issue where their webportal showed admissions decisions when they haven’t made any. However, they did say they got over 500 applications this year, significantly more than last year, and they are still reviewing applications.
