They found stuff on the application that might be a point of weakness and asked a lot about it. Be prepared to articulate yourself on those points. Otherwise it was pretty painless.

@MSWgirl2019 Interview for UPenn was good! I had it in late November over video call. They were nice and conversational but definitely asked tough questions and were straight forward about possible points of concern. Overall went well and I heard back about 15 days after.

UPenn SP2 MSW Admissions Interview

I was contacted today - about 16 days after my interview - and accepted! They said they would be sending the financial offer after their holiday break. -
Hi all! I submitted my application for WashU on Nov 1. Since then the status has been "application under review" until today it turned to "decision rendered." However, I can't see anywhere what that decision is! Any ideas?!

I applied to this program as well! Submitted on November 1st. I've heard from others that Michigan is one of the latest to hand out decisions and will most likely be in the Feb-March. Waiting is so hard!

UPenn SP2 MSW Admissions Interview

I had a similar experience. I submitted my application Nov 1 and heard back 24-48 hours later to schedule and interview. From what I've heard, I think they are just checking for completeness before scheduling the interview, not necessarily picking certain candidates. I had my interview on Monday Nov 26th over Skype. The interview was kind, casual, but did ask about specific application weakness ( Ie: asked me about the one C on my transcript and why it was there). She let me know that I would hear back within two weeks. I haven't heard yet and we're about ten days out, so I guess I will see!
