I'm having this issue right now. Briefly - I have confirmed interviews for schools A and B. School C invited to me interview on the same day as school B, and their alternate date is the day before school B. I could maybe make it work for school C if I miss the dinner/party the night before for school B, but I'm hesitant to do this as I don't want it to send the wrong message to school B... any advice? Should I just turn down the interview for school C altogether? This is my second year applying and I was absolutely not expecting to have this issue. It's also baffling that I've seen 5-10 other schools that have scheduled their interviews for this same day....

Whoever got the UCCS invite - I would love to know whether this was for Trauma or Geropsych! Thanks!

Does anyone have insider knowledge about when WUSTL will be extending interview invites? Not a lot of data from past years in the Results section.

In line with the phone interview questions - do PIs always extend in-person interview invites during a call if they like you? If there is no verbal offer during the phone interview, is there still a possibility of being invited to the interview day?

RA, although to be honest I found their whole website/application process quite unclear and I'm still not even sure who is taking a student. No one I reached out to got back to me.

Anyone applying to University of Alabama and having issues with their recommendation requests? I submitted my app on Monday but none of my letter writers have gotten any notification from the school to submit a letter for me, even after I hit "Resend". I called the Grad School but haven't heard back.

I applied last year, got 2 interviews, was waitlisted at both but wasn't offered a spot. I think it was due to a lack of research fit and not my credentials, but would love to get outside perspectives/advice on reapplying. GRE V161/Q158 W4 Psych GRE: 770 Undergrad GPA 3.75 1 first-author publication in press in a decent journal, hopefully one more 2nd author pub by the time I apply (currently being peer reviewed) 5 poster presentations (3 were at national conferences) Research: 1 year undergrad in clinical psych lab, currently in my 3rd year as a full-time research assistant in two labs at a highly regarded academic psychiatric hospital; currently conducting an independent (unfunded) research study on top of my full-time position Clinical experience: 2 years full-time residential counselor working with adolescents and adults with mood and personality disorders Recommenders: 2 will be the PIs of the labs I work in currently (will be strong recs) and 1 will be my undergrad lab PI. So I got a call today for my POI at my top choice school saying that she is planning on extending an offer to me but has to wait to hear back about a grant that was reviewed today - she said we’d probably know next week whether she has the funding to take me on. I’m over the moon excited that I am her top choice but terrified that the funding will fall through and I won’t end up getting in... has this happened with anyone else? Should I be worried??

I had 2 student/3 faculty at one school and 2 student/2 faculty at another. Not envious of your crazy schedule - best of luck!!

I’m waiting on duke too!! If we haven’t hear anything, does that mean potential waitlist? Just checked my application portal and still no status update.
