  1. I emailed them about when we’ll receive that info, so I’ll keep you posted if they respond (though I submitted my fafsa in December, so I should hear back sooner) !
  2. Thanks for letting me know!! Congrats!!!! i just checked and I was accepted too! did you receive any fin aid info? I don’t think I saw anything.
  3. Congrats!!! Hopefully you’ll be able to secure more funding!
  4. That’s awesome, an even bigger congrats on that!!
  5. Congrats!!! If you don’t mind me asking, does it list what kind of scholarship (merit or need?)
  6. I received 6:25–it must’ve been a blast email since it seems like others also heard then
  7. GOT MY ACCEPTANCE EMAIL TOO!!! Same question everyone else has been having about scholarships... I only see the tentative loan for $20,500. The email said all scholarship info is listed below so is this really all we can expect?? If so, that is really disappointing to find out. Congrats to everyone else who’s been accepted—if you’re comfortable, it would be great if you could share any scholarship info you may have received!
  8. I think it is too late, unless they send something later this evening or over the weekend...... My hopes were so high!!!!! Ahhhhh the wait continues.
  9. Maybe I’m too impatient but I still haven’t received any notice and it’ll be close of business pretty soon.... ??
  10. Ugh no I’ve been refreshing my email every 5 minutes lol. And this forum, to see if anyone else has heard anything!
  11. Yea I read other people’s posts and they were given a mid-February estimate too, but that definitely came and went lol. Maybe their definition of mid-Febuary is becore the end of the month....
  12. The final decision was definitely a new addition—I didn’t see it when I first submitted my application and I checked a few weeks ago and also didn’t see anything. If you’re seeing it, I think you’ll probably hear a decision soon too (unless you’ll have to go through the interview process?) Hunter doesn’t seem to be very good at answering emails promptly, if at all (at least the ones I’ve sent out). Perhaps others have a different experience though! Hopefully you can coordinate something though, to make your trip to NY even more productive!
  13. Hmmm, perhaps whoever is answering the phone vs emails (I emailed them) were told 2 different things lol, so it probably doesn’t mean too much! Well, fingers crossed I’ll actually hear back tomorrow. I’ll keep this forum posted!
  14. CONGRATS!!!! What a nice way to kick off the weekend (almost TGIF!!) ?
  15. Yep, I did apply for the 2 year program. And yes, everyone I know who applied to Hunter in previous years had to go through an interview. I’m not sure if they’ve changed up the process this year or something... I did also apply pretty early (late December). It’d be interesting to hear if anyone else has also skipped the interview step. Hopefully they’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back!
  16. Hmm it can’t hurt to send them an email and confirm if that was just a glitch in the system or not!
  17. Regular full time! And I appplied in early January
  18. I emailed admissions and they said I should find out my decision by end of this week! So hang in there everyone!
  19. @rrobinson I emailed SUNY Albany when we can expect to hear back and they said by first week of March!
  20. I emailed Hunter this morning asking them when we can expect to receive notifications and then funny enough, just received an email letting me know my decision was ready—I checked the application portal site and my acceptance was dated 2/19/19. I also didn’t have to go in for a group interview. I’m pretty surprised about that, because I thought an interview was a required part of the process, but I’m sure not complaining! The notification said an official acceptance letter would be sent soon, and that will contain the deadline for enrollment. @MayorBobbledoodery Could you let us know when you hear about fin aid? I imagine my deadline for acceptance will be sometime early March too, but I would definitely want to know fin aid info beforehand. Good luck to everyone else who’s waiting!
  21. Congrats!!! Hoping you could let us know when you applied and for what track (regular or advanced track?) and when your interview was, just so we can get a feel for the timeline. And Hunter may be sending the fin aid info separately, but I’m not sure how they usually handle it. It’s awesome to know people are starting to hear back from Hunter!
  22. Wow that is so exciting!!! That is so awesome you know where you’re going and have already started the field placements process
  23. I’m sorry to hear. Hopefully you have other options you can consider instead. And I think @doctormelody mentioned BU admissions is very finicky, so this decision may not be an accurate reflection of your overall credentials. (As a side note, no one seems to be responding about acceptances for the full-time regular track—I still haven’t heard back either and I also applied by the priority deadline—so I’m curious why they’ve decided to email out rejections first?) Good luck on any other decisions you’re waiting on!!
  24. Ooh wow you definitely applied early—hoping that means your application for regular track is on top of their list. I think generally schools notify advanced standing students first, so it makes sense that person heard back already. And maybe there’s hope the regular track will hear back soon too !
  25. That’s odd it took so long for you to receive the log-in, but it’s great you finally have access to it! I’ll be crossing my fingers for you—no one else has responded about special program acceptances so maybe I just found out sooner because I applied to it earlier? I submitted my app for the HRSA program on Dec 1st along with my MSW application. Regardless, good luck!! Waiting always sucks!
