  1. I declined JMU (distance) and will most likely be declining Loyola. Good luck all!
  2. I completely understand your predicament. I just decided on Towson over another program in part because it is in-state tuition for me, and the other school is private and more than twice as expensive. Although I also really like the Towson program, so that helps! Do you like the Bloomsburg program? I'm not familiar with it.
  3. Yes! Just decided on Towson! I love Loyola, and I think they have a phenomenal program (especially clinically). However, I also really like the Towson program, and the affordable cost and convenience for me (I'm closer to Towson) were just too much to pass up! Good luck at GWU!
  4. Did you decide on Towson or another program? I’m so curious to figure out what everyone is doing!
  5. Did you decide? Would love to hear an update! ?
  6. Did you decide? Would love to hear an update! ?
  7. Hello friends! I am so excited and grateful to have been accepted at both Loyola and Towson. Now I'm trying to figure out how to pick between them! Is anyone else in a similar position? Is anyone who is monitoring this site currently a student at Loyola or Towson? How did you choose? Thanks in advance for any input!
  8. I also got several emails from Loyola on Friday saying that we would be finding out more information (and possibly the portal link?) on Monday. Fingers crossed for everyone!
  9. No update that I know of. I have not heard anything, from either Loyola Maryland or Towson. Anxiously waiting. ?
  10. I've been waiting too! I was hoping for early February, but I recently checked their website and saw that they extended their application deadline to February 15. So maybe they’re just starting to review the applications? I’m anxious to hear! Good luck!
  11. I agree that it sounds like a good program. They seem to want their online cohorts to feel like a community, which is great. I am nervous about the prospect of finding my own placements, and I wonder what the clinical support looks like in an online program, but I imagine that's an issue with any distance ed situation. I am unfortunately not a VA resident, so the cost is a potential issue for me. I have applied to a few programs local to me that I haven't heard back from. The part-time online program idea is attractive to me as an adult learner with a family, but I'm not sure I can justify the cost if I get accepted to a school that offers me in-state tuition. So grateful to have this first acceptance though!
  12. Hello GradCafe friends! Anyone else attend the virtual open house? What did you all think? Just opening up the topic to see if anyone responds.
  13. Super helpful post! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one obsessively checking. ? Best wishes to all!
  14. I know this post is several years old, but I'm wondering if any of you ended up attending JMU's distance learning program. If so, what is your feedback about the program? I was recently accepted and I would love to know how your experience has been! Thanks!
  15. Hi! I know you posted about this ages ago, but I just saw it. Yes, I applied! But I actually don't know too much about the program. Has anyone attended JMU either for their in person or online program? I applied to their online program.
