Am I mad or this year everything is taking too long?

Anyone else qpplied to Icahn Biomed?

I'm just confused bc I was told by some of these programs that they don't even sound out invites til Jan and yet I already see some posts on here ?

A friend told me he received an interview on Christmas Eve once hah. Also, a lot of programs have sent invites after Christmas and before Jan in the past. 

hahaha... when you haven't heard anything at all from any of your programs yet IT'S FINE. I'M COMPLETELY FINE.

Guys, do you know if universities stop sending invites from tomorrow and until January because of the holidays, so there is no reason to expect anything? 

Has anyone else gotten an interview from Yale?

I am an international, non-US degree applicant. In my case, I am not sure if my application would be evaluated later or I assume it is a rejection.

Did anyone receive an invite from this list (Harvard PiN, Yale INP, UPenn NGG, WashU in St. Louis, UCSF, UCSD, Stanford)?? 

and not a single international applicant. i hate not being from the US 

Same here, but I noted in my CV that it was under review. I do not really understand how people having 5 first-author publications (provided they are in normal journals) come not to have a PhD degree already?

Here’s to praying that I get an email from them at some point ?. I know it’s still really early in the season, but I don’t think I’ve ever been as stressed as I am currently 

Just got an invite from Harvard!! I'm shaking. I'm an international student with US undergrad/masters degrees.

Seeing people get interview invites to programs I applied to when my inbox is dry makes me feel like crap lol

Confirm, committee is meeting on the 22nd. Not sure when the actual invites will go out though.

I am so glad people here are writing about Sinai that they have not started sending out invites. I am so hoping for it, as this school has the most perfect professor and lab for me considering my research interests, and I honestly believe it is the best fit for me (not sure if the feeling is mutual ?)
I have felt so anxious not having received any info from them. Please write here if you hear back from Sinai! ?

I'm at Sinai currently (as research staff). I think that it's going to take a while since it seems like they intend to go through the applications thoroughly and consider everyone's background / adverse circumstances / weigh the pros and cons. It was definitely one of the most involved applications that I had to do.

later as in Jan or later as in later this year ? Still hoping sinai, I loved it when I interviewed there

Apparently Sinai is going to be sending out invites later this year because they want to set up virtual interviews and videos etc for Feb and that’s going to take some time. 

every other discipline is sending invites except for neuro WHYY
