    just got a rejection from BU HSR ? I’m slowly coming to terms that I may not get in this cycle and I’m trying to not be so hard on myself given funding/surge in applicants this year. I also haven’t graduated with my MPH yet. So I’m assuming that a little work experience and (covid friendly) traveling would be nice. I haven’t had a break from school, ever. Maybe it’s a sign to take a break ?

    Yes they do. My advisor said that they usually will just ask generic questions like research interests, why you want to go there, and to tell them about yourself

    Has anyone heard from the following PhD programs? 1. Pitt, behavioral and community health sciences 2. JHU, mental health 3. BU, HSR 4. UNC, health behavior

    I actually go to UF and I’m getting my MPH in SBS. I didn't apply because I need a change of atmosphere. Usually their acceptances come back around the middle of February or the end. If you want more information I would email Dr. Jamie Pomeranz, I believe he is the PhD coordinator for PH.

    @psychhopeful19 Thank you, this is my first time applying to PhD programs so I’m very new to the process. Did you reach out to any faculty prior to submitting your applications? I didn’t realize how important this step is and I am worried it may be too late for me to email them.

    @psychhopeful19 I applied for the mental health program at JHU. I didn’t receive an interview, should I assume that I was rejected and move on?:(
