Here are my stats Program Applied To : MPP/IR Schools Applied To: Kennedy MPP; SIPA MIA; SAIS; Georgetown MSFS; GWU Elliott Schools Admitted To: GWU Elliott Schools Rejected From: - Still Waiting: All others Undergraduate institution: Turkish University Undergraduate GPA: 3.63 Undergraduate Major: Economics GRE Quantitative Score: 168 (96%) GRE Verbal Score: 153 (62%) GRE AW Score: 4.5 (72%) Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 8 Years of Work Experience: 8 Describe Relevant Work Experience: 8 years in a public institution dealing with International Financial Institutions. Attended many high level International Meetings Languages: Turkish (native), English (good) Quant: Good thanks to economics major Strength of SOP: Work experience. Strength of LOR: Hopefully very good references from supervisors

  6. congrats to all admitted fellas. although I am a bit surprised to hear that people choose some less prestigious schools over Chicago, when I think DC factor I can understand. Then I would like to ask a similar question; would you prefer SAIS or Georgetown over HKS? I haven't been admitted to any of them though...

  8. I totally agree with myrnist about the rank of Syracuse. Also, if a school is listed in the top tier, this is more or less relevant for all its programs. Of course there are some exceptions such as SAIS, Georgetown and GWU are among the top at IR/Gov't issues. This is mostly because of their location. Other than that, top schools such as Harvard, Chicago, Princeton etc are also top at these departments. This is what I think as an applicant of course, not as an employer

    I am also expecting them to respond until March 15th. But I heard some guys got acceptance.

  14. yeah I believe so. however its reputation neds to be further improved. you can hardly see a reference to the program. maybe more advertising is required.
  15. what do you think about the ranking of this program? do you think is it comparable to other top MPAs?
