Guelph interview days are the second week of Feb - I am guessing they'll send out invites early next week (if they haven't already).

I know interview days have been set for Friday and Monday. I would follow up!

I'm sorry to hear that and I imagine many of us can empathize with your experience. From this process, the one thing I've learned is that there is no "perfect formula". One thing that HAS stood out to me as being really, really important is the relationship with the professors you're applying to. I applied to clinical programs last year (I'm Canadian) and didn't get any interviews. This year, I focused a lot on building relationships with my three top choices (e.g., volunteering, meeting at conferences) and was interviewed at all three of those schools - I was rejected from everywhere else without an interview.

I was contacted by my POI directly, and by the Graduate Program Director with an update that I'm on the wait-list. I'm not sure if that's been everyone's experience though

I don't think recommendations have gone in yet. I just had a Skype interview with my POI this morning and she said that the decisions would be made soon. I'm guessing people will begin to hear news next week.

I also already have an MA, but even if you apply to the MA level (which seems to be the easier way in) it doesn't necessarily mean you'll need to do another Thesis. My experience is that most schools will still consider you for entry into the PhD, you may just need to complete a year of make-up courses at the MA level. Of course, that varies by program and school.

I'm waiting on McGill Counselling Psych as well. MA or PhD? I had an interview for the MA program a couple years ago ... they e-mailed me in March I believe.

I also got that e-mail from McGill..totally got my hopes up . I haven't heard anything from U of T yet either

Has anyone heard from McGill or UWO for Counselling Psych MA? I had a Skype interview with Calgary today...still waiting on the other two
