That is rough.

Roommates are sort of not an option for me. My fiancee and I will be newlyweds by that point, and assuming she comes with me to Boston (which is a very real discussion we are having, because he leaving her job here in NYC is also sort of a non-starter), we'd certainly need a place to ourselves that we could afford. I'm really worried about being able to pay for rent on a grad stipend.

I AM FREAKING OUT.

Anybody have any news on response dates for Fordham or BC?

Is that how it usually goes?

Ok, it's the first week of March. Any time now, Boston College. Any time now would be great.

The whole point of my master's will be for me to do it on the ground.

I got one acceptance from a rolling admissions program. Kind of in the dark as to when I'll hear from Fordham, but apparently BC should be next week.

V 170, Q 152, W 5.5 No retake. No prep. I'm really bad at math, and I found the test prep's math stuff a bit over my head because I'm dumb with numbers. So I didn't do it. I do not yet know if I got into my top choice programs, so we'll see how that fares, but BC told me my GREs were excellent, so presumably they like them.

I'm going crazy waiting to hear from somebody. Anybody. Someone give me a call and let me know what's going on. I know Fordham has made their decisions. Just let me know, people. Just end this hell.

I've got my backup already sorted out. I was accepted to Seton Hall last year and deferred; so if I don't get in to BC or Fordham, I'm off to New Jersey.

I hope BC and Fordham notify next week....

We can only hope. I'm starting to wonder if there may be a new Pope before there may be any responses.
