I was despairing yesterday over what I thought was my third implied rejection out of six applications, yet here we are. And for some schools only the first wave has passed. ely01 Posted February 6, 2018 Share Posted February 6, 2018 (edited) Can now confirm that Yale has sent out interview slots for their finalists; I'm not sure if they've sent out all the emails; (EDIT for credibility: the interviews being set up are for the end of this week.) I am in contact with faculty from the department/have a few friends who are finalists, but would prefer not to divulge further information because it would be fairly easy to pinpoint who I am. Thanks!!! I think they're saying that Penn and Michigan are their top choices, hence their interest in Penn's interview process. I also got an offer at Michigan and I did not interview. Not sure if everything has gone out, but someone on results posted that they had a Michigan interview so they might still be sending acceptance/evaluating wait-lists. Another Brown acceptance went up this morning. Congratulations to whoever that is! Based on the historical results survey, it doesn't look like they interview, but who knows. Does anyone know how and when NYU informs? The results survey is all over the place. Last year it looks like everything started in March, but I can't tell if that was just folks getting off of the waitlist. My professor suggested something "not too formal" but also "not casual", so I'm thinking about just bringing dresses and jeans w/ nice tops. I had no idea that they previously notified that early.
