@Anna58 Have you heard back on the language test? It seems that some people were asked to do the language test right away.

No. They haven't mentioned anything about the language test. I only got the confirmation that they received the record of the interview. I guess you haven't heard about it either (?)

@Ivette congrats! was it completely competency-based interview? Also how was your spanish language test? what is the format they test you on for the language part?

Thanks ! ( I don’t think I’ll get the job anyways but who knows )

it was mixed not all of the question were competency based, 7 questions in total .
for the language part I think in some cases is optional , I wasn’t invited to take one.

maybe it’s because I’m native in Spanish and I marked English as a second language ( and since the whole process is held in English maybe there’s no need to prove that)

good luck!i

Can anyone provide any advise on the language test, format, questions asked, etc?

@Finch2506 The first section is a survey ( in English) asking  you select your interests  from many options-  the guestions in the test language are  generally around  those areas.

Dears,

I just found out about this forum and I thank you for your comments, they are all very useful.

I applied for the HR P3/P4 role and I made so far the technical assessment, language test and video interview.

I now checked the status and it shows the following:"Congratulations, you have passed through to the interview phase" . Does anyone know what that means? Does it refer to the previous step the video interview or to the next one, the panel interview?

thanks for your answers and good luck to you all!

Michele

Michelle - Are you interviewing for both p3/p4? Congratulations Ivette and all the best

Any updates on the P2 pre-interviews yet?

Did anyone get an invitation to the P2 Partnerships Officer pre-interviews yet?

Or maybe the pre-interviews are being conducted on separate schedules for P4, P3 and P2?

Hello @Ivette all the luck in you application!

I wasn't invited to a language test also. I think like you said as English was our second language and we conducted all tests in English so it wasn't required anymore.

I would appreciate if you could explain further how we should be prepared for the Panel Interview? You said not all questions were behavioral so what other type of questions they asked? Can you recall on which behaviors they focused their questions on?

Thank you so much for the support!

Dear Ivette,

I am sure you did better than you think :-)

You say that it wasn't not only behavioral questions. Did they ask technical job related questions? Can you please elaborate? I am not asking for specific questions just to have general idea.

Thank you!

Hi Simka

thanks for your best wishes :)

as for the questions these were 7 , 3 panelists. 45-50 mins.

Some motivation questions , if you are aware of the possibility to be transferred  to a hardship duty station , if you were ok and why. Questions and examples of providing feedback, leverage with other areas , innovative solutions and teamwork.

Hope this helps

hi do the question appear on screen or will some body ask question orally. I know we need to answer orally.

Questions appear on screen, you can play them twice and then have to answer. Your camera is on and there is someone watching you and helping in case of technical problems.

Hi Everyone!

I have been selected for the pre-interview for partnerships officer p2, too! So if I have well understood, this pre-interview is competency-based and motivational at the same time? Thank you for your attention.

Great news. Did you get the email from Devex today?

yes! and you? Any news about the pre-interview?

Cool. If you read through the thread, there have been earlier posts about the likely format of the pre-interviews from the P4 candidates.

I didn't receive the pre interview invitation from Devex. Though I did hear the tests are still being reviewed.

What date did you take the online test, if you don't mind me asking?

@Energy94 Congratulations for qualifying so far. I applied for the same position (Partnerships Officer- P2) but still haven't heard anything yet. I took the test on the 30th of April. When did you take yours?
