To the person who was rejected from Penn on the 25th, could you clarify what you mean about your rejection being due to a disability? I got in but I'm concerned about there being ableism etc. in the department, If you aren't comfortable speaking here, my DMs are also open.

That's an incredibly serious charge to levy and I don't see a faculty member referencing that in their notification. So, I'm curious as to how they could possibly know.

Yeah, it'd hafta be pretty blatant, no?

It's my top choice currently for where to attend, so i just wanna make sure everything is alright. As someone with disabilities of my own I don't want to be matriculating into a program with individuals who would show hate or discrimination for like five or six years...

So, a couple of unofficial Chicago acceptances have posted.  Anyone hear anything else about Chicago (phd)?

Hey there, I was one of the unofficial acceptances. It was from the POI, and there was no indication of how many have  been accepted this year. It sounded like I’ll likely receive the official offer next week. Hope this helps.

I got one also -- my POI said I'll get a formal letter on Monday.

Official Notre Dame rejection letter finally arrived. Nothing significant content wise. Just an update for anyone who's keeping track.

Yes, same here. I had been holding out hope that I might be a late addition to the wait list.

I'm only waiting to hear back from Yale Divinity (MARc) at this point.

Just received an acceptance to the phd at UChicago! I'm history of Christianity, and received an email to check the portal this evening. I was at a movie theater when I got the notification, and decided to wait until the movie was over to log in to the portal because I was expecting a rejection. I'm still in shock!

Anyone have any insights on the decision release for UChicago's Masters programs?  I've been waiting with bated breath since the day after Presidents' Day!

Hopefully this week since their website says early March.

Has anyone heard anything from GPR at Duke? Been accepted/waitlisted/rejected? I'm wondering why info is so late this year

I haven't heard anything and assume that i've been rejected...I also think it's odd because it seems that in the past everyone regardless of status was notified on the same day. There is an acceptance on the results thread that I assume is legitimate because their interview (which is non-competitive) was weekend of Feb 14. I was holding out hope of being waitlisted but hope for that is slim because I met someone at an interview about  week ago who said they were wait-listed at Duke (subfield Hebrew Bible). of course there is a chance that not all subfields were notified a the same time, but i would assume they were because their waiting list is universal.

Hey guys, haven’t checked in a while but i noticed that some people are talking about Duke. I’ve been waitlisted and I was wondering if anyone has more information on my chances. I’ve been told that they have 1 slot per subfield so does each subfield have a waitlist?

@Anonymon1234 are you waitlisted for GPR or DDS? They don't do things the same way. A current Duke GPR student told me that their waiting list is universal, not field-specific.
