SAME

They sent the decision AS an email, not a notification to check portal??? I don't even see any change in application status in the portal ahaha

AHHH congrats!!! I hope this means that the portal will be updated to reflect possible funding too. I didn't get any mention of funding in my email

Last year they released funding info in the acceptance email (for some people at least). Could very well be different this year though

Oof, thank you for letting us know! Looks like a number of people in the results tab did get scholarships in their acceptance email. I guess all I can do is hope and wait, haha.

Congrats everyone! I got in as well for Sustainable Systems!! I was also notified via email communication and no update on the portal..

There's no mention of funding in my email either. I hope we get to know more over the coming few days. Kinda hoping I get some sort of GSRA funding tbh

Which tracks have you lot applied to?

Congrats everyone!!! Haven’t heard anything yet, but I applied for the Environmental Justice specialization so maybe they haven’t released those yet (at least thats what I’m hoping!). It seems like a lot of the policy and planning acceptances came out today along with a few others.

Was an email sent? Or did you check the portal? Is this for a Masters?

An email was sent to check the portal. My admission is "provisional" pending the receipt of my official transcript from undergrad. I applied to the Master of Env. Science and Mgmnt in Environmental Science and Management.

If I may ask, how are the courses in Duke, UCSB different from the one at Michigan SEAS? I'm not too sure how I missed these courses but I've applied to MIT TPP, CMU EPP, ETH Zurich Science Tech & Policy, and stanford MS&E (with an aim to speacialise in energy systems/e-mobility). So far I've only heard back from SEAS, waiting for others

You may DM me if you don't wanna reply here. Also congrats on UCSB!

I am not sure about Duke since I didn't apply there so perhaps someone else can comment on that part? However, the main difference for UCSB and UMich is that it seems that UMich has put a strong emphasis on the social science portion of their programs (psychology, economics, anthropology, sociology, etc...) while UCSB focuses more on solutions to environmental issues throughout their program and the Bren School is highly ranked throughout the past few decades. They both have different specializations as well. Both UMIch and UCSB have capstone projects and overall both are great programs.

Any other updates or good news? I'm just waiting ?

Also have yet to hear from SEAS ?   After incessantly stalking the results page on here (lol), it looks like last year decisions came out over the course of a week, potentially in two waves (the 18th and the 25th). And based on what someone said earlier about a SEAS admissions staff saying they will come out "over the next week", I think its possible that there will be a second batch of notifications next week.

Also, did anyone just receive a notice from Yale about all decisions being released on or before the 8th?
