Yes, it's so hard not to feel like you have imposter syndrome. And no matter how much good news we hear (e.g., acceptance offers), receiving a rejection will always stand out more and feel like it reaffirms our "imposter" feeling. But I just try to remember that with limited spots available, there are always going to be well qualified and deserving candidates who unfortunately won't get accepted and try not to take it so personal. 

And thanks for letting me know about the portal! Helpful to know that yours still says "Submitted" as it likely means I can stop signing in to check every couple of hours ?

Hey,congratulations!  I have applied for  MSW 2 years. Getting so anxious now lol. I know that i might not know the result that early but I'm so nervous rn ?

Does anyone know for uoft what's the usual time gap between ITR and non-ITR stream applicant to know the decision?

ITR was much sooner because of the interview process I think (I was told at the end of interview that they would let us know by end of Feb), the regular stream looks like it could still be anytime between now and mid-April for results

Hey everyone! Second time applicant here. I just want to say to keep calm, and stay positive! I applied first time in 2019 and got wait listed at U of T and never got in. I persevered, and heard back from McGill MSW advanced standing last week.

Even though I'm still waiting to hear back from the other schools I applied to, I wanted to say that everything happens for a reason, and if you don't get in at first, definitely try again! There are so many opportunities for you to boost your resume and application and you will eventually get in somewhere :)

I submitted at the end of December for the advanced track Mswwp.

Notice of decision just came in for the 2 year York program, rejected.

Just got the email, rejected for York due to high competitive this year. 20 spots for 500 people. Still wait for uoft and Laurier.

I'm so sorry to everyone that didn't get into York. It sucks regardless but through this I'm trying to remind myself its not about being a bad candidate but rather that theres so much amazing competition and things will hopefully work out for everyone one way or another. For people that heard from York I was wondering what letter your last name starts with? I'm an S and havent gotten anything yet.

Hey! For those who are at looking at Dal and/ or received their snail mail with the preliminary acceptance, have you received the email to follow to confirm the acceptance or has your portal updated yet?

I received my letter in the mail on Feb. 11th but I have yet to receive an email or have my portal updated, as it still says “Written Notification to Follow.”

Feeling concerned as I’d have like to apply for a scholarship with a quickly approaching due date. I need to confirm my registration in order to apply, so I was hoping to finalize the acceptance and pay that 200 admissions deposit fee soon!

Oh strange! I would call them for sure, I got an email with the acceptance a few days after getting the letter in the mail with conditional acceptance

If anyone that went to Carleton could message me (if you feel comfortable) on how much tuition is? I have been finding conflicting info and I was just curious! Thanks so much!
