healthequityprincess Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Hi all! Quick blurb from Hopkins HBS/SBS PhD Admin--emailed them today; "Thank you for your continued interest in the PhD degree program in the Dept. HBS. We anticipate interviews happing in late January to the first week of February and decisions being sent out as soon as possible afterwards. This would also include rejections and waitlist decisions." Still no word back from BHS at Brown! ? Not sure if that means we got the boot or if interviews are happening later than originally planned! Fingers crossed for great news on the horizon!
dogmom34 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Saw someone got an interview for my top program on the results page. A little crushed. This is waiting period is killing me. spiralingepi 1

MedicinesAreExpensive Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I interviewed with Boston University this week for the DrPH program and they confirmed decisions should be made by beginning of March. They shared that they will interview around 25 applicants for 8 spots. Good luck everyone and keep leading with what you are passionate about! spiralingepi 1

This was the program I applied to as I couldn't afford to apply to multiple. I am trying to remain confident in myself, but wow, I feel pretty worthless.

I applied to Boston epi phd before and I remember getting an invite late Jan and the interview day was mid feb. It was all the departments on a zoom at first then it broke out to departments and then individual interviews. Not sure if that is helpful or if it is the same but that was the 2021 cycle. The epi dept also bought us lunch that day which was super cool. DrPhDFall2023 and Hsaka 1 1
anxiousphdapplicant Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I interviewed at BU this week. This is probably a dumb question but is it common to send a thank you email to the people you interview with? I always do it after job interviews but wasn't sure if it was common for this.
winnpopl Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Any updates for UNC Health policy and management PhD?

Anairam Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Hi everyone, Has anyone heard anything about Yale’s Ph.D. - Social & Behavioral Sciences program? Haven’t heard anything and am starting to freak out! Thanks!

They've started sending out interview invites I think.

Unsure if all the interview invites have been sent out or if I should still hold on to some hope I applied to JHU Mental Health PhD, and still have not heard back from them. I admissions told me that top candidates will be contacted by the end of January. globalMH and MaxPlanck 2

Ugh, transparency would be so great in this process, lol!

And given that they have several tracks, it may be around 5 per track... really competitive

It's absolutely annoying I applied Yale SBS PhD too and I wasn't privy to this information until like a week ago lol when my department chair told me after I straight up asked him.
