neshmi Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I think it would be hilarious if a rejection letter included a kleenex.... coffeem8, anonacademic, nervousnelly and 1 other 4

bee kel Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I got this in one yesterday: "Unfortunately, the committee has decided not to recommend your admission and I concur with this decision." OH THANKS YOU BOTH HATE ME. Pratik., space-cat, shadytree1234 and 6 others 9
balderdash Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 When I was applying to my masters programs last year, I got one that essentially said I should be proud for even having submitted the app. I couldn't believe they allowed that much condescension into the reject letter.
Golden Monkey Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I got this in one yesterday: "Unfortunately, the committee has decided not to recommend your admission and I concur with this decision." OH THANKS YOU BOTH HATE ME. That's just harsh!

Golden Monkey Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 "Thank you for considering our program. Unfortunately, there were many qualified candidates this year, and you were not one of them. We suggest you consider a career in the exciting careers of medical billing, HVAC, or aviation repair instead. We suggest you watch your local daytime television programming on weekdays between Judge Judy and Tyra for institutions suitable for your needs." Ludwig von Dracula, Clawsworth, NUcat72 and 1 other 4
