I've always been fond of the future.

 

Same. I'm totally fascinated that we live in a time where the Internet was born, and is still budding. It's like we're in the Wild West times of the digital world. I can't wait to see what else is in store for us in the future.

 

Otherwise, I love the Wild West. I could watch Bonanza and Gun Smoke all day long. Romantically simple, rugged, independent.

You make a good point. I've always kinda been envious of past time periods. If I was watching a movie or reading a book, I'd always think to myself, "Man, it would've been so awesome to live back then." But then I really think about it... Progression of the way people lived was soooooooo slow up until the last half of this past century. Just think, from the time someone was born until they died, the ways of the world would have been completely the same throughout the duration of their lives. Whereas us, we have more progression in a year than they had in a lifetime. There's always something new to look forward to. And I don't mean, "I can't wait till the Galaxy S5 comes out." I mean completely new technologies that change the way we live, new laws and customs and rights, and mass communication and high speed travel allowing us to traverse the world a million times over.
