Aubstopper Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Here's hoping. I figure 33% is normal right? so that means I should at least hear from 1-2 more positively. At this point, I'd really like to hear good things from Brandeis and Iowa. I think I have the best fit at those schools. Brandeis is my best fit as well. You think that the delay is New England weather-related? It seems like they're inconsistent in their releasing of results over the years (ie sometimes it's around this time in Feb, other times not till mid-March).
Aubstopper Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Thanks guys! I appreciate the support. You're killing it now! Congrats!
Heimat Historian Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I'm curious about the weather myself Aubstopper. I wouldn't discount it. They are also quite sporadic with their announcements.
SunshineLolipops Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 If I keep telling myself that I will hear something, anything at all really, back from a school "next week," I've gotta be right at least once between now and May. ellebe, ashiepoo72, herstorian728 and 2 others 5
ashiepoo72 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 According to my spreadsheet (don't judge me), most programs will be notifying any lingering acceptances and rejections within the next 2 weeks. Some take longer because of wait lists and such. I'm pretty surprised at how slow it's been. Even with the occasional massacre (thanks Brown, Duke and Stanford!) it's been slow-going.
ashiepoo72 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Congrats Ivan! Fingers crossed you get in soon!
Fianna Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Just got notifications from both Kansas and Boulder. In at Kansas, out (as expected) at Boulder.
Heimat Historian Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Congrats Fianna and Ivan. I'm in at Kansas as well. Fianna 1
Fianna Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) Thanks, guys. Kansas is also an overlap with my husband, so we have a choice. It's a nice feeling. Edited to add congrats to the Cornell admit. Edited February 20, 2015 by Fianna Heimat Historian and MollyTheMick 2
