    @TakeruK @fuzzylogician ok, another question--on my original app I had asked for it to be sent to another department for review in the event that I was rejected from the original dept. Well, I was rejected. The rejection email did not indicate anything about the app being forwarded. Do they automatically do that? Or do they select at their will? Ahhh so many questions. thank you!

    officially nervous. bunch of other people posted unofficial calls from their POI this week. I did not get one. I believe my POI is on leave if that makes a difference, her faculty profile says on leave 16-17. Just wondering if admins/people who have been through this before can put me out of my misery. thx.

    Today I received a package in the mail. It said "university" so I freaked out. Looked closer and it was some random MA program solicitation. Ugh. 21k for 15 months in Rome if anyone's interested.
