Well, to be honest, it was not too difficult but since I'm not used to case studies let alone the quantitative questions that come with them it was trickier for me than it would for most other folks I think. I'm hoping the admissions committee is understanding of folks from non-traditional backgrounds and have more lee-room/ not as harsh!

Hi Ardent, it went okay! Since I'm more of an untraditional applicant (with less of a quantitative background) I was quite nervous about the case study. Hoping the majority of interviewed individuals ultimately get admitted. Any idea of the rate?

Hey there! Glad to finally find a fellow applicant here My status was "Under Evaluation" up till early yesterday morning on my portal. Took a doubletake when I saw my status changed to Accepted. Submitted my application on 1/24 and heard back 2/26. Although Hertie is notorious for being quick with acceptances maybe they've got a large load of applicants to get through around this time of the year! Good luck! Is Hertie your priority school or did you apply elsewhere?

Any folks who have applied or been accepted to Hertie School of Governance this application season? Though i've found past threads, don't think there is one for 2016! Just checked my portal today and discovered I've been admitted! Yet to receive an e-mail though, anyone know how soon afterwards we receive it and also financial aid information?

Received an e-mail from admissions regarding expected dates for interviews (short listed candidates) and official results, if everyone has also received this apologies for the redundancy-- Your application is currently under assessment by our Admissions Committee and you may be invited to interview before a final decision on your application is made. Please note that not all shortlisted applicants will be asked to interview. The interview will take place over Skype, lasting approximately 20 minutes, and will not require any preparation. We are aiming to hold the interviews between Tuesday 1st March and Thursday 10th March 2016. Please ensure you would be available for interview between this period, should it be required. All applicants will receive an outcome via email detailing the final decision by 18th March 2016.

Ardent, I applied by the December 31st deadline to qualify for funding. Strange, because all of my materials have been submitted (including all recommendations)!
