I just read somewhere that they are making a decision tomorrow, March 9th, and we should be hearing back soon after. I'm sooo nervous. I really want to get into Gallaudet!!

I completely agree! I worked all 4 years and held many leadership positions in that job. But yet, many schools don't take that into consideration because all that matters is grades. I wish they would have told you that the first day of college. :/

I completely understand! I've been rejected from 4 and waitlisted at 1 which makes me completely nervous. I know I have a lot of schools to hear from yet but I have low stats so this whole process is overwhelming. I know being waitlisted isn't the worst thing but it sounds like a lot of people were waitlisted at SIUE. :/ There's nothing I can do but worry until the letters start coming in.

So my stats are actually pretty bad. Ungrad GPA: 3.1 GRE: 152v 142q 4.5aw I worked all 4 years while at Purdue and held many leadership positions. I really hoped that would help my application!

I haven't heard anything from them either. I think I saw on the results page that they had begun notifying people in other programs so hopefully ours will come soon!

I can't totally remember but I'm pretty sure the end of November, early December.

Yeah I just got an email an hour ago. It was a rejection from the program director. Have you heard back yet?

I've heard from three schools now and they have all been rejections. I feel your pain.

I hope they do! Now I feel like I'm never going to sleep and instead be up all night checking my email. I'm hoping for a waitlist at the least but I also probably don't have the highest stats for this school either! I wish the best of luck to both of us! This waiting game is never ending!

What happens if you don't get in? If you don't mind me asking, what did you guys do with the year off? I'm nervous about not getting in and I'm curious what my options are.

I'm new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself. I graduated from Purdue University in December and I am impatiently waiting results. I applied to the following schools: University of Central Arkansas, Gallaudet University, Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, St. Mary's College, Old Dominion University, University of Virginia, University of Alabama, University of District of Columbia, Cleveland State University, Pacific University, IUP Longwood University, North Carolina Central University, Eastern Michigan University, and Purdue University. Yup, 16 schools but I feel like my stats are kind of low. I'm from Indiana so I would love to go to school out East somewhere but I don't have a top favorite. I'm just hoping to get in!
