  1. Just wondering what the process is like to get licensed in a state that is different from the state you're attending graduate school in? Is this a difficult and pricey process? Also, can you do your CFY in a state that you did not attend grad school in?
  2. Towson: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1415448528529460/
  3. Here is the link to the Towson SLP class of 2019 facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1415448528529460/ Can't wait to connect with people!
  4. Hi - Does anyone have any experience with URI or Towson's speech pathology program? If so, what has your experience been like with either? Are the professors helpful, do they have good placements, etc... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  5. @peachyspeechy I'm in exactly the same boat! So far I've been accepted to Temple, University of Rhode Island, and Univ. of Maryland and no one has included any financial info grrr. UMD said they will send "official" acceptance letters out in mid-March (so far I've just relieved a brief acceptance email) so maybe all of the schools follow up with some sort of package?? It would be nice to know this stuff before April comes around and we're going nuts trying to decide if we can afford a school!
  6. Does anyone know if scholarship awards come out after the initial acceptance letter is received, or do these usually come together?
  7. Just spoke to them, funding/financial awards should be out by mid-march!
  8. I heard the same thing, in regards to CSDCAS. I am more worried about the schools that required you to upload and submit your own transcripts. I just found out that you are unable to upload anything new, once you submitted these apps. I'm hoping you can email/mail them directly to your program. I'll call tomorrow!
  9. Hi everyone, I was wondering if most people submitted their applications with their PRE-FALL grades? I submitted all of my applications by early October, so of course these did not include my Fall grades. Does anyone know what schools prefer/if you can just mail in your post-fall grades if apps have already been locked and submitted? Thanks!!
  10. To everyone who got into graduate school for speech pathology, first off congrats ...has anyone received any sort of financial assistance aside from loans? Specifically curious to hear about schools in the Northeast. What were your GPA/GRE scores? Thanks!!
  11. To those students accepted/waitlisted at Towson and University of Maryland for the speech-language master's program, what were your GPA and GRE stats? I have a 4.0 and tons of clinical and real-world experience, but am nervous that my less than stellar Quant score will set me back from getting accepted to my dream schools! Congrats to all who got accepted!!!
