  1. Just go to Rush! Still a great program, and I just don't think the astronomical tuition is worth it!
  2. Hi everyone, I just wanted to check what the standards are for dressing for interviews (for women). I've been googling it but I'm still kind of confused. Is a skirt suit expected, or is a dress okay? Is it better to just wear a skirt and some kind of blouse? Do I have to wear a blazer? Are tights okay? (It will be February in Boston!) Thanks!
  3. I went to submit an application last night through CSDCAS just after 9 pm my time, and realized that the deadline had already passed because the deadline was in EST. CSDCAS wouldn't let me submit it at all. I emailed the school's admissions, but they haven't gotten back to me. Should I call them? CSDCAS's website says that schools can grant an extension, but the school has to reach out to CSDCAS. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and did anyone have any luck? I feel so bad about myself.
  4. I can’t find this info on Boston University’s website! Does the app need to be verified by CSDCAS by January 1st for BU to accept it? Or does it just need to be submitted by Jan 1??? Thanks!!!
  5. I'm an out-of-field applicant from Oregon. I'm applying to BU, Northeastern, Emerson, Northwestern, and Temple. GPA is 3.73... at my undergrad this was considered pretty good because of our strict grade deflation policy, but now I'm getting nervous. My GRE scores are 167 V, 158 Q, and 5.0 AW. I'm not overly worried about my SOP's or letters of rec, but I'm seriously worried about my experience. I don't have any direct SLP experience, my biggest work experience has been as a nanny and managing a cafe. In my SOP's I'm really just trying to get across that I sincerely want to be an SLP and am motivated to excel in the program.
