Just got my second letter this morning, so they're definitely doing them in batches. Committee 178, 18/169, I got the CGS-D.

Committee 178 (Physics and Astronomy), got my results at 1:21pm Eastern. I got the CGS-D! I'm at UVic, I have one first author publication and that's it. No conferences or anything. Last name starts with H.

This may have already been asked, in which case please pardon my ignorance, but on some of the admission graphs, in the GPA distribution there's a light red, and no green - what's the light red signify? Thanks!

I'm a Canadian from Winnipeg, I applied to UVic, McGill and SFU for Theoretical Physics (Cosmology and HEP-th), as well as American and UK schools. I've been accepted to SFU and McGill already (got accepted to SFU on the 13th and McGill on the 22nd) with a fellowship at McGill, and UVic has shortlisted me, so we'll see about there!
