seems like master's acceptances are going out now... I know the admissions office said end of March/early April waitlisted applicants should hear back but damn... it's getting late in the game..

At this point you may be waitlisted. You should shoot them an email. A month after interview is a good time to start reaching out. Best of luck!

During our interview, we were told by the dean that if we get waitlisted to reach out to her mid-march to ask our ranking/any changes. She told us to CC the director as well cause she forgets to respond to emails. I did that after weeks of hearing that I was waitlisted and I just got a response back from the director, not the dean, "I did receive your email and you are on our waitlist. You probably will not hear from me again until we are closer to April 15th." Is it just me or does it sound like she wasn't happy with me emailing her. Should I response back and explain that the dean asked us to do so? Help... lol

@MSWbyTheSea omg that's really insensitive of them. Keep your head high! There's still hope or they would've sent out a rejection right away. Radio silence is really torturous though. I really hope you hear good news soon/

@kristincas Thank you for starting this thread. I'm currently on a waitlist too and I was wondering if you recommend individuals on a waitlist to wait it out or to reach out to POIs/admission committees? I'm leaning towards just waiting it out. How did it work out for you? Thanks in advance!

@LolJustAdmitMe I think we're in the same boat :'( . It's been 3 weeks for you too right? They told me I'll know by last week ... still no word. Almost want to just email them tomorrow.... stop me? haha

was wondering the same thing... as the time passes throughout the day I convince myself that it will come late afternoon haha but to answer your question, my interview emails both came late afternoon. but @kitcassidance is right, it could be any point of the day :/

I interviewed with a school last week and there was another student who also interviewed right before me. We had the same interviewers and everything. I emailed the school asking when we would hear back and they said the following week however, I just saw that this same student received an acceptance letter on the same day that the school responded back to me saying I would hear back the following week. I was confident that I would have a good chance after the interview but now I'm getting a bit concerned. Do you think this is bad news? or am I getting ahead of myself. We interviewed right after each other on the same day so I'm just a bit concerned. Any comments/thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks!
