  1. I know a person that hired a GRE tutor. They got 10 points out of it.
  2. If money to pay for applications isn’t an issue, make them tell you “no”. your ego may get bruised, but if you reach for the stars and grab one, you win.
  3. Advice: Dale Carnegie has a book out on how to live above worry. “How to stop worrying and start living” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_Stop_Worrying_and_Start_Living in it, he tells the reader how to live in day tight compartments. Meaning, you live day to day, ask yourself what you can change (by worrying (answer is nothing)); and how to prepare for it, overcome it, etc. yes, this field is highly competitive But you made the final cut. Don’t doubt your abilities.
  4. This is a guess, but most likely at close of business on the 15th.
  5. How I managed to gain 10 points on the gre to earn a high enough score to get into grad school background: took moderate classes in high school - not advanced placement. Made in the low 20’s on the ACT. Good enough to get into the program I wanted. took the gre, and scored lowered than what I thought was needed to get into one of the better schools. So so I paid $3k for personal online tutoring with the Princeton Review. I retook the test, gained 10 points and was recently admitted into a program. though unconventional and pricey, it isn’t as bad as spending thousands on an undergrad program to never advance in a field where a masters is required.
