    Are you applying to online schools or on campus programs? I have to admit the idea of moving out-of-state really makes me nervous. It's one thing to just pack up and move in your 20s and it's a whole other thing now. Lol

    You are right, most programs require CSD professors. I am applying for the Fall cycle.

    LOL, but it is very frustrating. I did ask other professors. My options are limited for SLP professors because I have only taken 5 classes and 3 are in progress.

    I have been out of school for a while. I am taking my SLP prerequisite and had asked a professor for a LOR. He said I needed to take at least 2 classes with him before he would write a letter. I have not taken any class with the same professor more than once at this point. Anyone else in the same boat?

    LOR are one requirement I’ve seen across the board. Some schools may not require the GRE, let me know if you find any schools.

    I hope we all get accepted to school. I have been looking into physician assistant programs for plan B.

    If you do not get accepted in an SLP program, are you planning to apply to a different program? Will you reapply next year?

    I was in the Bay last summer and the rent stunned me. It’s defintely more expensive than LA, I would love to move there-maybe one day.

    I feel your pain. I’m in LA, are you in San Francisco?

    The ASHA course requirements can be taken for credit/no credit so I don’t think a C is going to be problematic.

    I need to have 8 classes completed by the time I apply to one of the schools on my list. I have never taken online classes before. Is it feasible to take 6 classes in one semester? When I was an undergrad I took 15-18 hours each semester.

    Did you check ENMU? I thought I saw a course with disabilities in the tile, not sure about the American society part though.

    I live in Los Angeles and know how expensive it is. I would not take a big private loan for pre-reqs, that’s just me. Have you looked into the online pre-req programs? I am also taking leveling courses.
