I graduated with a 3.3 and got into 3 masters programs! You definitely have a shot of getting in. I'd set your sights on "less competitive" schools that will accept students within your GPA range. You can use ASHA EdFind to search for schools that accept students with your stats and go from there.
I'd also suggest looking into schools in the UK if you'd be open to it. UK grad programs, while similarly competitive, often have higher enrollments and they look at more than just GPA, plus they don't require the GRE. It's no secret that in American schools it's a bit of a numbers game, meaning GPA and test scores, but in the UK they stress interviews (done via Skype if you're overseas) and an applicant overall, which I think is great as a competent clinician is more than his or her GPA. There's an agreement between the UK and US (as well as many other countries) for licensure, so your degree would be recognized. Plus, to my surprise when I was applying, it's often far less expensive than a master's program in the states!

why in the heck do these schools not send out all of the emails on one day?!?! Like they know we all check things or know other people who applied. I think that's my biggest issue with this process. LET US KNOW!

Don't get me wrong, I am freaking out about not having heard from almost all of my schools, and I am obsessively checking emails/application status websites. But real quick, can we just talk about the insane price to apply to higher education. Its ridiculous that we have to pay so many duplicate fees when the information through CSDCAS is supposed to streamline the process, not just serve as an advertisement for what schools are available. I find the fees exorbitant, especially in a field where we have always been told to cast a wide net and apply to a large number of schools.
Quick run-down to make everyones wallets hurt:
Each CSDCAS application- $51 through Individual Schools personal graduate portal- ~$30-$75 Send individual GRE scores- $27*** Official Transcripts- $5-$30*** Thats an Avg. of ~$148 per school, not including the one time fee of $100 from CSDCAS
*** We have to to send individual GRE to practically every program, even though we already paid CSDCAS who apparently can't give out our transcripts  to schools (which means we all basically wasted $27). And then to top it off, we have to pay more for Official Transcripts per a handful of schools.
BONUS: We have to fill out multiple applications where some schools ask for additional copies of letters of recommendation, state licenses, online interviews, video essays etc. all outside of CSDCAS.

I just don't understand the purpose of CSDCAS if it can't give the schools we apply to the main pillars of their assessments of students or if we are just re0entering everything anyway so the school can make profit.  I get that it helps smaller schools get their program out there, but it can't even format my Resume, or embed video submissions. Okay, rant over. Please tell me I'm not alone hating CSDCAS.

I really relate to this, I even made a whole post about it a few days ago  I've had to limit myself to checking my phone only every hour during the work day!! I'm also waiting on Chapman and saw that someone got an interview and couldve puked haha. It's horrible

I applied! I am also anxious to hear back. The program is on the"cheaper" end and allows flexibility between going FT and PT. However, I heard ( i think on here) that a few people had a hard time finding placements.

Hey guys! Like most everyone else, I'm anxiously waiting around to hear back from schools. I'm from the US, but I also applied to four schools in the United Kingdom and was wondering if anyone else here applied in the UK or to international schools elsewhere? I actually just got invited to Skype interview with the program director of Leeds-Beckett University and I am stoked as this is the first communication I've heard from any school, US or UK!!!
I found that the program prices are very comparable to US programs and in many cases are cheaper when comparing out of state/private tuition costs and as long as the program is accredited, your degree is recognized for licensure back in the States.
    Good luck to everyone applying!

Not yet Did you receive a confirmation email once your application was submitted or anything like that? I never received anything. When I log in to their website, it shows that my application was submitted/paid for and is "complete" but I just find it odd that I never received anything confirming it was being reviewed.

I believe they had an earlier deadline last year, so that is why people heard back much earlier than they are this year.

I don't have the best stats either. I'm a linguistics major but I took all prereqs as an undergrad (my school doesn't have an undergrad CSD program but does offer the prereqs). I'm from Florida and go to school here, but my parents moved to the Raleigh-Durham area recently and I'd love to live at home so I can take out less loans. Plus, I've heard really good things about the program and the campus is gorgeous. I've only been to NC a handful of times and I could definitely see myself there. How about you?
