  2. School: OISE Program: Developmental Psychology & Education (DPE) Interview type: Zoom Date of Invite: February 2nd
  3. Yes the virtual visiting day is different than interviews. It's essentially an open house to learn more about the program. I believe it is up to your POI to let the grad department know if they want you to be invited to visiting day. Every prof's timelines have been different so hopefully you hear soon! Visit day is on Mon., Feb. 8th.
  4. School: Ryerson University Program: Clinical Psychology, MA. Interview type: Visiting Day on Feb 8th from program coordinator Date of Invite: January 29th, 2021
  5. It's still too early for York. I don't believe they have sent out any interview invites yet. I would expect to hear back within the next couple of weeks.
  6. I had an informal interview this week with my POI at Ryerson. They said they would create a shortlist from there and invite those people to Virtual Interview Day. Not sure if I should be expecting to hear back for a formal interview. Just curious, in case I do, how would the formal interview differ? My informal interview was pretty in depth and lasted almost an hour. What else could be asked in the formal interview? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Anyone here apply for the School and Applied Child Psychology program at Western? Is this expected to follow the same timeline of the other Western clinical program?
  8. Anyone here apply to the MA program in Developmental Psychology and Education at University of Toronto (OISE) and hear back? Canadian gal right here my apologizes if this is solely an American thread...
  9. I know this is a clinical thread but has anyone heard from OISE MA Developmental Psychology & Education? If there is an applicable forum for this program pls link, can't seem to find one. Thx
  10. I had no idea that there was a possibility you could get accepted without an interview...
  11. Can the person who posted on the results page about an interview at Mac please DM me if you're comfortable?
  12. Has anyone received interview invites for the CD program at York?
  13. Wow... decisions usually go out at the end of March for 2 year MSW at UofT. I wonder if the delay is due to increased number of applicants. Did you e-mail and ask her this question?
  14. When do interview invites usually go out for Ryerson (MA)?
  15. Woke up to a rejection from UWaterloo. So surprised it came this early. Didn’t interview.
  16. I just wanted to talk about feelings of discouragement- which may be surfacing a lot right now. Most people have to apply multiple times to get into the program they want and there's nothing wrong with that! When I applied for the first time 3 years ago, I was so overwhelmed with the novelty of this intricate process, not to mention trying to balance school work simultaneously. I actually think some time off is beneficial because it allows you to reflect and focus on other things you may be neglecting- there are other things that matter in life! This process isn't always linear. I feel a sense of calmness this time around, perhaps because I've become experienced with timelines and writing applications, but probably because I know everything will work out in the end for the best. There are so many careers out there that are amazing and that will allow you to make a difference and help people. You are capable of doing all that and more! I was so narrow-minded a few years ago and told myself I HAD to go into clinical psych because it was the next logical step. Maybe it was the prestige. Try to be open-minded to other programs that may work even better with the lifestyle that you want.
  17. Mine has changed to "under review".
