    Hi everyone! I was losing all hope for this year, but I ended up receiving an offer from McGill's Counselling Psychology (Internship) program! I am incredibly grateful (and surprised!) that everything worked out, especially given how stressful and hectic this application cycle was with the pandemic. I'd love to chat with any other students on this thread who are attending McGill's program this fall! Feel free to PM me if you'd like to connect. ?     Hey! I'm not too sure to be honest. I think the generic questions went fairly well because I prepared quite a bit for them, but I don't feel like I elaborated enough for the ethical dilemmas... So I have a bit of mixed feelings of how it went. Keeping my fingers crossed though that I actually did better than I think I did! How did it go for you??

    Update: McMaster's new M.Sc. program in Psychotherapy has started sending out interview invites, if anyone on here applied! I know this is a clinical thread, but... Does anyone have any insight on the interview process for McMaster's Psychotherapy program? Better yet, if there are any current students in the program, could you send me a PM? Thank you! ☺️

    An update for folks who have applied to Lakehead's clinical MA program: I spoke with their secretary recently, who said that the department is currently in the process of developing A, B, and C lists (top-tier, second-tier, do not admit). The A and B lists will be distributed to POIs the week of February 8th-12th. Applicants may be contacted with offers around this time (they do not have formal interviews, although your POI may or may not contact you to meet informally). If your proposed supervisor(s) is not able to supervise you, but they think you would be a good fit for the program, they will contact you about other potential supervisors you would be interested in working with. Offers will be sent out in small amounts at a time trickling down these lists until they have between 5-7 accepted offers. I just wanted to let everyone know that offers will likely be made from February until possibly April, so don't panic if people start receiving offers mid-February! Hope that helps give a little bit of clarity. Good luck!!

    Hi everyone! Curious if anyone has any updates on UNB? Were all the interview invites sent out?

    Six offers went out for Memorial last Monday. The PsyD secretary said that students have until mid-March to accept or reject these offers, and then it sounds like subsequent offers will trickle down the waitlist until the program is filled. I believe they interviewed 16 candidates so there’s about ten people (or maybe less) on the waitlist.

    I’ve been following this forum for awhile now but have never posted before — congrats to everyone who got interviews and offers!! That’s amazing! ? I’m just curious if anyone has heard back from Memorial for the PsyD program since the first interview? I was told last Monday (10th) that I would hear back by the end of the week or early next week, but I haven’t heard anything yet (although it’s still fairly early I guess!) I’m just curious if anyone else has heard back yet or has any insight into this process. Memorial is my last hope this year, and I’m really hoping for better news after being rejected from UNB ?
