So I just logged in to Stanford's application page to check my status, and for a while the page was unaccessible. I thought maybe they were updating our records, and for 5 whole seconds the tension was real! I was eventually able to access the page, but no new updates ?

No, I did not get an interview. In fact, I got very little feedback from the POIs contacted.

Stanford has by far the most rejections!

This is just my opinion. I think it is an effective way of immediately communicating with the applicant, as well as receiving a reply from them; some may have already decided to pursue another programme. Or maybe POI just wants to touch base with their new cohort.

Honestly, Stanford's administration tend to not [needlessly] reply. I submitted 6 applications, and found their administration (as well as faculty) the least responsive. Honestly, I found this tendency somewhat uninspiring. But I suppose they are doing the best they can.

It is unbearable -
I did 6 applications and now I am beginning to think it was not enough. One of my programmes has already started accepting people (so far I am not one of them.) Starting to panic a bit.
