Thank you!! I chose York for several reasons - i'll list a few below: -i wanted to stay in toronto (and i plan to live/work here in the future so i felt it would be good to make connections in toronto) -York offered me an incredible financial assistance program/scholarship that's hard to reject! -i attended western for my undergrad and wanted a new experience. plus i felt that the faculty there did not particularly align with what was important to me for my MSW experience -the faculty at York seems really cool and interesting & aligns more with my interests than both uwo/laurier

I got accepted to York for the 2-year program!!! I'm soooo happy because I really did want to stay in toronto for my masters and it can finally happen!! I received an email 2 days ago (tuesday may 18, 4:15pm) asking to set up a call. I assumed it would be to provide additional documentation but it was an acceptance!! super happy. myfile has not been updated but i was told it would be within the next couple days. I'll be rejecting my laurier and western offers soon as well, so hopefully something opens up for someone on the waitlist! wishing everyone else the best of luck!

me too! still waiting on decisions from laurier/york & on the waitlist for uoft but i've accepted the western offer. so i'd like to join any groups that are made since so far its looking like western is most likely where ill be headed

I have no idea. I'm thinking no because everyone has stopped hearing about acceptances after they finished the alphabet. i think many of the accepted people haven't posted on here and that might be where the middle letters got lost... i'm still trying to keeping some hope alive but its hard! hoping for the best for us both!

Last name P and i'm in the same position. Losing hope but if by some miracle I get into UofT (or York) i would reject my Western offer. Still waiting on that to decide my future.

Have they moved past all the middle letters already ? ? My last name starts with P and I'm so sad that nothing has changed on my Acorn or SGS.

I was accepted to uWindsor for the 2 year program today! Since I live really far away from Windsor and already got in somewhere else, I'll be rejecting the offer so hopefully someone on the waitlist will hear back soon! Was informed by email to check eGAS today around 4pm. My 'Status Change Date' was changed 3 times before they sent me a decision (once in Jan and twice in the beginning of March).

I was accepted into the program and they have given me until March 18th to accept/decline the offer. So I assume you will hear back after then? My decision also depends on responses from other universities (like UofT) so when other offers go out, the waitlist will probably move faster. Good luck!

Thank you! Congrats to you too If you go into your Student Centre where you've been accepted and click 'View Letters' and look at the Department Offer Letter it should have a line in the letter explaining when you need to respond by.

Hi guys! I got accepted to the 2-year program at Western earlier today! I'm so excited!! They have given me until March 19th to respond. I would prefer going to UofT over Western but I'm not sure if I will hear back in time. Does anyone know if it's possible to accept the Western offer and later accept UofT if I end up getting in there? I'd totally be down to go to Western instead but just wondering!
