Hmm Thx, uromastyx, I might have to retake the GRE if I didn't get in this time (and if I still have willpower to do this again by then ) I was so determined to improve my verbal (I gained 7 points) and didn't have time to look at AWA at all

I know I can't really do anything about it since I've submitted my apps and everything. But do you think my 152V, 167Q, 2.5&3.5 AWA (I sent both) are good enough to get me into PhD program? My TOEFL score is quite solid (107/120, thought not so good in the writing section with 24 out of 30). I'm afraid that my mediocre AWA score might cost me another year. Any thoughts?

I think you shouldn't think too much about it. No emails just mean they're still making decision. That's it.

One school told me they will make all decisions before March 1st. I have no idea when will the other four I applied to will announce the results.

I don't really know much about the employment But i think if you already planned to live (and presumably work) there, the Adelaide program should be better for you since it should focus on more relevant problems in that region. Just my 2 cents.

I'm from Thailand and I still have no clue how to approach this statement. I don't know if I should play "I'm from Asia" card just to say that I'll bring diversity to the program (even though it's true) Any recommendation?

I sincerely hope that schools will consider the fact that I'm not a native speaker. I got 152V and 164Q and I have no time to take it again. Does anybody know if that's the case?

Public Policy PhD - Any Admissions Results?

Has anybody heard back from Indiana's SPEA or Delaware? These are my two last hopes and I'm getting crazier by day for not knowing the results. -
I'm still waiting to hear back from Indiana and Delaware. Grrrr this is painful!

Wow Sunflower, congrats! I think I have pretty mediocre verbal score (145) and maybe that's how I got 3 rejections out of 5 PhD public policy programs. I'm Thai and I know my English is far from perfect, but do you think I still have a shot at this? I don't know if Public Policy programs care that much about my Quan score though (162) because my AW score was not good either (3.5).
