I felt the same way! It's kind of awful when people get in somewhere and brush it off like its nothing... but then when someone gets in and freaks out the way I would its like *high five, you did it!!!*

I replied enthusiastically to all my WL notifications. You can ask about whether or not the WL is ranked, or whether you're closer to the top of the bottom. Congrats, I'm very jealous.

I'd assume so :/ I want more info on the WL though... when it was received, etc.

It's important to end up somewhere where you'll have good quality of life. I'd suggest you look at placement, which isn't factored into the gourmet report, and is arguably more important than rank. Edit: If there's a real chance you might ditch philosophy, I definitely think location and general prestige/name recognition should be your priority.

You should ask -- they said they'd cover me. Not sure if it has to do with my place on the WL, but definitely worth asking them. They seemed encouraged that i was enthusiastic.

They do, but they have a policy not to be specific... so they'll just tell you near the top or near the bottom. (p.s. sorry about the weird double quoting thing, I'm not sure how it happened or how to undo it)
