I would like to thank the person who initiated this thread and everyone who contributed. This has been very helpful. I noticed however that not many people answered questions related to the language test. I put french as my second language although my knowledge is fairly basic. Can someone explain what can be expected? I read somewhere that something will be read out and you have to write the answer down, will this be read out in English or French? Are there any other types of questions?

Also, I will be doing my assessment test today for Risk and Compliance Advisor (P2,P3,P4). Anyone else here did it already and perhaps has some advice?

I did not take the language test and I noticed my status changed on the application to the interview stage. What about you?

Is anyone applying to the Budget and Finance position?-P2 specifically (or any of the other ones). Did you receive any invitation after the written test?

As general to the other applicants for other positions,  do you know what was your status marking when you passed through the written test?

I did french after that the status changed on 17th July but it is not saying i am going to interview stage but it is still showing you are partaking in the assessment. i don't know whether i cleared french or not. i have less hope only and it is keep reducing. All the best for your interview.

I did the pre-interview but with no language. Did you do the pre-interview and language together? Don't lose hope, we are in this together

Hi Cheval, indeed the two key things to look at is the status and date - if date changed and your status remained the same then chances might not be as positive

I did the technical assessment and I saw  the status date changed but the status did not change. Has anyone experienced this? or anyone know what this means?

@Ch_E 13 I did one for Budget and Finance P1 but I have not yet received an answer yet. I saw the status date changed but the status is still " You will be partaking in the assessment phase". Not sure what this means.

I applied Partnership P2 and I'm in the reference check phase. I wonder for those who have passed this check, do you know how WFP will contact the referees? By phone or email?

Nothing after that the latest date change is `17th July and still showing you are partaking in assessment phase. let us keep hoping......

i did language just one week after pre interview. when i completed pre-interview i noticed after 3 days the status changed then after french the status date changed after a month (but status statement didn't change). so i really don't know about this. ya.....anything can happen. let us see. i will be really happy if i get the chance as i feel although none of us in this forum met each other still we are moving forward together and trying to help each other. We are all batch mates. if i am left behind still i will try to catch you next time.

I actually sent an email to Devex, they said they are still evaluating and will give an answer either if positive or not. 

Did your status change how many days after the test? My status date changed 2 days after, so I believe it is too soon. As the pre-interview and the language test are part of the assessment, I believe the status will only change after that. Let`s give a leap of faith and wait, who knows? UN process usually take ages...

Thanks for the update. Mine also changed like 3 days after the test.

I think it is still a bit early as I received the acceptance mail this month!
