Those who received the "Important - NSERC Extranet for Applicants", how long did it take before you received the system-generated username/password emails?

I got the Extranet email at 9:58 am PST but haven't received the system-generated emails for username/password email to create an account!

My last name starts with V.

Best of luck to all!

UPDATE: LOL NSERC likes to play, I can't see my results yet.

NSERC staff might be watching this forum and having their best day ... lol.... can they be more creative to make us lose sleep and freak out ?

emailed my graduate coordinator to see if they have the results yet, the suspense is killing me about the next two emails let alone the actual announcement!

Sorry, I my mistake. I did not ask my supervisor, but asked the graduate studies coordinator in the department.

Does anyone know the difference between CGS and PGS?

CGS is more $$$, and can only be tendered within Canada. PGS can be taken internationally.

The top X% of applicants to the PGS-D are awarded the CGS-D, which is work $35k/yr instead of $21k/yr.

also CGS-D is named Alexander Graham Bell CGS-D.....a more prestige sounding name in your CV as opposed to Postgraduate lol

I just got a reply from coordinator...they haven't received anything yet.....maybe it's on last-name basis individually ? Maybe it is by institution ? Maybe some other kinds of fun algorithm NSERC decides to play this year ? I donno...

Did everyone get the email for the extranet or some people didn't?

What? There is a NEW process?

Yeah you'll get your results online this year on the extranet website. NSERC will provide you with a username and a password in two separate emails.

Like.. how we will recive the results April 16th by 11:59 EST, and we will be receiving two system generated emails from NSERC to access the Extranet thing. I meant that I haven't received the "two system generated emails" yet. Hopefully that clarifies what I meant! ?
