I'm in the same boat - trying to be grateful about the options I do have and not beat myself up about the ones that didn't work out (incidentally, also all the name brand ones). I didnt know you applied to SES-- have you heard anything? I saw one interview on the results page

They will group applications and continue to evaluate them until they offer and fill their PhD position allocation. It is a cycle, so they will repeat the process by groups until they find two candidates to fill the spots until the end of March. I guess this also happens in your area since the admission officer is not area specific. Cheer up! Expand I've been interviewing with Boston College this week. How about you? So far everyone seems very nice. I'd assume that if you got invited to interview with LBS you'd also get invited to interview at Boston College, but I guess I really have no idea. I applied to the former but haven't yet heard from them, unfortunately. EDIT: Curious if anyone knows much about the reputation of Boston College, also. I chose to apply there because of the fit of the faculty and because I thought I needed one school that was (relatively) less competitive to get into compared to others I was targeting.
