This makes me feel that there may be some hope. The two that have not updated my application status are the two "reach" programs and that is building on the anxiety of waiting! Well I was going to do several papers per PI and then make sure all the technical details of my own research are completely in my memory so I don't forget something obvious when i'm sitting there all nervous but I'm not sure how much preparation is necessary - anyone who has interviewed before have any perspective on how detailed we need to get for this stuff? I get 2-3 days in between them. And I won't know who I'll be interviewing with until about a week to two days until the interview, or in some cases not until the day of the interview! A general trend I've been seeing is that interview invites are coming out later, in general and compared to last year, probably due to more and more applications.
