Canadian Clinical Psych Programs - Anything yet?
Generic_Applicant replied to csierrah's topic in Waiting it Out
Hi Jup! Would you be willing to tell me a little bit about your application? Like your GPA, GRE and other experiences/publications? I want to apply next year and want to know what could help. I'd appreciate the help- 8 replies

And I still haven't got my letter from UofT... what does this meeeaaannnnn
-
Yay, cant wait to see that rejection letter in person! lol
-
Yeah I haven't gotten a letter either. They' re a little behind this year or something..
-
I had got my waitlist status and rejection letter last year on March 27, so I'm wondering
-
I haven't received my rejection letter yet. Odd. And I'm in Toronto.
-
I had to send him 3 emails before he replied. he is probably being bombarded by emails right now
-
He said the letter will come in end of march, so there is still time
-
No. I only got mine because I asked for an unofficial response to respond to a different offer. You're probably fine. I think you had a better application. Good luck!

Got an email from Todd. Didnt get in.

lol. Man this week is going to be crazy. .
-
I'd have passed out lol
-
Lol every time I see a big envelope I get excited thinking its from Oise but it ends up being some kind of subscription crap
-
Oh I was wondering if its a different envelope if you get accepted. I've heard its thicker but didn't know its a full out big brown envelope. All the better hahah
-
Oh really? That's kind of surprising.. I'm a uoft undergrad so that's another site that I'll keep checking then lol
-
Weekend's almost over!! hahaha
-
Yes ofcourse!
-
Oh yeah. For sure. Also, since Adler is private, the fees are killing me..
-
Well this is supposed to be a satellite school of the Adler in Chicago and Vancouver which are established schools. But, honestly, I am not impressed. Which is why the pressure of getting into UofT is so much more. Would be life changing for me on so many levels (mostly due to funding too, haha)
-
Not at all- I'm doing it at Adler Graduate Professional school in Toronto. I like the program but it is very different and I miss UofT in some ways. It is a new school so it has it downs but the program itself is very clinical which is good. Classes are on weekends. But to be completely honest- I'd rather be at UofT. This school has a lot to figure out still and I want to do more research.

Yeah same!
-
Yes! You are so lucky. This is rough on the heart! haha Would you want to do a doctorate level? I wonder if that is a factor in the review process- probably not eh
-
Yeah that's true. Thanks lol that makes me feel better! You said you applied two years ago? Just curious as to what you have been up to in between. And if it's others' first time application?
-
Well then maybe I made myself look bad haha. I emailed them before I saw the list of profs accepting students for this year. This just keeps getting worse and worse lol Yeah sure Djentbot!
