Where did I say that I don't like the schools that accepted me? I'm pretty happy about my 2 schools so far, but they're not my absolute top choice. My dream school is the perfect fit for courses, research, and they have over a 90% rate for employment in industry companies.
I found out that someone was accepted at my dream school last month instead of the time they told me that they would be sending out decisions which would be at the end of this month. So now I'm thinking that they're just going to do a mass email for rejections at the end of March.
I think you should bring up your quant and aw score if you have a bit of time. You don't have a bad score, but I think a quant score of 700 is a must for CS programs. How does the rest of your application look?
So I just went to the website for one of my applications and I was denied. I'm 1-1-0 now. Even though it wasn't a school I really wanted to get into, a rejection still feels bad.
I would consider the program I applied to as my first choice among them even if it isn't ranked higher than the others. It's just a perfect fit program for me.
I do a lot of things for stress relief. I like playing badminton, car stuff, dancing (pop and lock), video games, and watching old anime (also old cartoons from my childhood). When I'm finally in grad school, I'll probably just play guitar in my apartment, still practice dancing, and I might play video games. I don't know if I'll have time to even go outside to exercise.
The students at the school I would like to pursue my PhD at received a MS prior to attending that school for a PhD. I probably came across only one student who went directly from undergrad into the PhD program.
Tough decision and I know how you feel. I'm doing the MS to PhD route too because I'm not sure if I really want to pursue that PhD. Although if I were offered that at my first choice or second choice school, I'd probably take it in a heart beat.
I would only put it if your program does say optional. A program I applied to said that uploading unnecessary material will delay my application review and some negative stuff.
