    Hey everyone! I'm a current MA CSE student. I will be there on Jan 27 to help calm any nerves pre-interview! There will be several of my classmates there as well, so if you have any questions, ask us tomorrow (Or Feb 3, the other interview day)! Just relax, be confident, and be yourself! This program is really chill and we're all like a family - no need for uptight formalities!

    The MA CSE program at OISE certifies you as an elementary school teacher! I like the idea of trying to pursue an MSW part-time, or even a BSW part-time! I know the job market is scarce for teachers at the moment, but I think I'll be willing to struggle for a couple of years to get the end goal. Thank you for your thoughts! I am planning on sticking with the teaching degree, so hopefully one of the 2017 MSW waitlisters will get a call soon!

    Hey everyone! I am doing the M.A. CSE program at OISE starting September, so I'll be certified to teach K-6 by the end of the program. Anyone know anything about upgrading qualifications to teach 7-12? I love children and teaching younger children, which is why I chose this program, but it would be nice to know if I could ever have the choice to teach other grades. Thank you!

    Got a call about my acceptance to UofT's 2 year MSW program. However, I accepted OISE's M.A. in Child Studies and Education program a couple months back. I was given the option to override that acceptance and put my deposit towards the MSW program. But I'm really confused! My original goal was hospital social work (only kind I want to do), but teaching has always been dear to my heart. Any insight or suggestions would be helpful!

    I'll be accepting my MA CSE offer and rejecting my MT offer, so hopefully someone waitlisted gets their offer soon!

    I asked around and 99% of people say to do the MA CSE program (if you've been accepted to both). Apparently much more organized, helpful in the future, more well-respected, and overall just a better program. A friend from high school is currently in the program and she said her classmates enjoy their program much more than the MT students.

    To those who applied for both the MA in child study and the MT, which are you going to choose? I have no idea what the difference is and whether one is worth pursuing over the other. Any insight is appreciated!

    My MA Child Study and Education one says financially cancelled and my MT one says invited... fingers crossed they both mean I'm in!

    Have an interview on Jan 28th, have no idea what kind of questions they're going to ask. For those waiting for an email back, it said that there are two interviewers and it is going to be half an hour long.
