  1. Nope. Nothing since 3/19 when they sent it to the committee for review. I'm past ansy and have moved into anxiety and stress....lol. Hopefully, we'll hear back soon.
  2. Oh I see. How'd that class go? I'm ready to hear about their decision but have hesitated to contact them since 5 weeks have gone by since my application was forwarded to the admissions committee.....I guess I'm going to just wait.....
  3. So last year you had an interview and you were not accepted? Did they give you feedback as to why you were not admitted? Was your interview this year any different from last year?
  4. OK. I see... that makes sense. I was told 5 weeks ago when I talked to the admissions advisor to give them 3-5 weeks for a decision. I haven't heard anything since then.....I so desperately want a chance to interview!!!! If I get an interview, I would definitely go in person but I'm only one flight away from Austin or Dallas. When is your interview?
  5. Hello, I was thinking of doing this as well.....I am currently applying for their 2nd bachelors program bc I'm only like 8 credits short.
  6. What class did they not accept from your other school? It sounds like if you had an interview they were already really interested in you! I don't think the Dallas campus was an option initially. I figured because I am in TX they asked me to switch my preference. I'm curious if they offered it to everyone who applied......?
  7. I agree too. In TX and in the school setting, SLP assistants start out higher than 40k.
  8. So the 16th was officially 4 weeks since the enrollment advisor told me they submitted my application. I was also told 3-5 weeks to hear back. I have not heard anything yet. I'm totally hoping for a chance to interview!!!!!!
  9. So I thought I read that they wanted to see a combined V and Q = 294, but when I talked to the enrollment advisor she said 290 was recommended. As for the C and still getting accepted....I'm not sure.
  10. No. But when I last spoke to an admissions advisor she said to give them 3-5 weeks which will be 4 weeks for me this coming Tuesday. I'm trying not to think about it too much because it's been pretty stressful. I'm ready for the next step. Did you apply directly for the Dallas campus or did they ask you to switch from Austin to Dallas?
  11. My 2 cents....I was under the impression that a lot of schools want them through a school program. I've never heard of master clinician but sounds pretty cool if it's approved. That being said.....the college that I did my pre reqs at didn't offer a class to do observation hours. So when I went to apply to get my SLP assistance license I had to get a form signed by the department head saying they don't offer it so that I could acquire them through a clinic. Then when I tried applying to ENMU, for example, they require the observation hours be done through a class. So to be able to apply to that program and a few others I went ahead and took an online course to get my hours. It wasn't difficult just time consuming. Hope this helps. I was out of field too when I first started looking at speech but I'm so glad I did. I love it!
  12. You"ll do great! Are you interviewing in person or over skype? Good luck and let us know how it goes!!!!
  13. Check out this post and thread! Hopefully it helps. I'm hoping to hear back from USA also. Can I ask when you submitted your application? I recently received a call from an application advisor and she said it should take 3-5 weeks for them to get back to me. Fingers crossed!!!!!
  14. I don't get it then.....why are some people waitlisted and others not notified of anything. Again, thanks for the info.
  15. Thanks for the info. I feel like they keep all those not accepted in the dark and this awful limbo that slowly drives everyone crazy. lol
  16. I was also recently contacted by an application advisor and she asked if I wanted to postpone my application bc my GRE scores were right under their recommended combined score of 290 (187). Also, if I would consider putting their new campus Dallas as my top choice. She said they have a lot of slots still. I asked if it helped my chances of getting accepted and she said no but I thought it couldn't hurt and agreed. She said to give them 3-5 weeks for a decision. Fingers crossed!!!!!
  17. I haven't received anything from them but I figured I'd give it till April 15th.
  18. I havn't received anything from them. The supplemental link was so simple I thought I was missing something but other applicants have assured me that it was the same for them as well.
