  1. Great to hear that someone here is using Preped too! In addition to Magoosh and Preped, I have been reading Kaplan books and Nova Press GRE books (which I believe is already available in Preped). Both books are really helpful.
  2. Hmmm I am not an admission committee, but I would just like to give some advice. The second score already gave you quite a good score to give it a shot for college. It would be best to know the GRE Score requirement for the University or College you are looking into enrolling instead of getting another GRE Exam (for the 4th time). Each school has different GRE Requirements and your scores might do pretty well in getting you admitted to your dream school. Also, you might want to re-evaluate your preparation guidelines/technique. Discover which section/part you are having a hold back. Most GRE Takers only take 1 prep test course to help them with their GRE preparation, others usually took all prep course available to ensure the highest score. I have been taking 3 prep courses available on the market - Preped, Magoosh and Kaplan. You might want to check it out Also, I'll share to you a GRE Vocabulary Review Guide provided by Preped and Vince Kotchian: Hope my own experience can help you.
  3. I agree to MattDU's advice. Retaking your GRE would be best. Assess yourself which part of the exam you had difficulty of.
  4. I think it would be best if you rest your brain and body 1-2 days before the exam. If you still continue studying, you might end up with a mental block during the exam. For the first 18 days, you might want to review what you have studied.
  5. Hmmm try getting a better score perhaps? Practice test scores don't usually predict your actual GRE Score
  6. I think all test prep companies made their practice tests hard to fully prepare each one for the GRE Exam.
  7. In my case, I am currently juggling between Magoosh, Preped and Kaplan. So far, Preped has courses from different test prep experts. They are somewhat a test prep platform since they also offer courses for the following exam: SAT, IELTS, ACT, etc. Kaplan is really good too I am still trying their trial versions, same with Magoosh.
  8. Wow! I have been preparing GRE for like 2 months now, and still I am way behind my targeted score. Anyway, Preped provides a score that guarantees you 2-weeks of preparation. It is also authored by Nova Press, which is a really good source for GRE Practice Tests in Amazon. Here is the link: https://www.preped.com/program/nova-press-gre-course . Preped also offer free practice tests for you to check Also, I have tried getting the Magoosh 7-day free trial. It is totally great and loving it. Currently working on Kaplan. So, I have a total of 3 sources to help me be prepared of my GRE!
  9. haha yes indeed! The GRE is starting to crack me up. Anyway, good luck on your future endeavor. I am still starting my own.
  10. Yes, I agree with _kita's answer. Your quantitative score is low given the Universities you have mentioned. Just make sure that you have reached the school's GRE Requirement
  11. I have also tried Preped's free GRE Vocab App, it's really amazing with 5000 words!
  12. There's been test preparation companies claiming they can increase your score, even up to 70 points! Why don't you check those out? Magoosh, Kaplan,Preped and Princetons - some test prep companies that would love to help you.
  13. Based on my readings, questions are really not that common or the same as previous years in GRE. ETS make sure that questions are not repetitive. Practice tests can really give you a boost of confidence. Trying out A LOT would definitely help. Test prep companies like Preped, Magoosh, Kaplan, etc provides extremely helpful practice tests.
  14. Magoosh is a good start to prepare for GRE. However, there are newly developed test prep programs now. Everyone should look for something new
