    I still have heard nothing from York Sociology. I think I'm rejected and they have not updated my status on myfile yet.

    Thank you! I hope I'm waitlisted but I think they have not submitted decisions on international students yet. I e-mailed the graduate assistant and waiting for response.

    Those who have applied York sociology, have you checked your application status? I've seen a rejection on the board, but mine is ' no decision yet'.

    Hello all, Since I could not take GRE exam, I've applied gradschools in Canada. But I have been thinking about some high ranking universities in Germany such as Humboldt and University of Mannheim . I'm interested in work and labor, economic sociology... Besides, I think that I would have limited opportunities to improve my sociological skills in those schools in Germany. You know European PhD programs have different patterns than those schools in USA and Canada. What do you think? Are there anyone could tell about experiences in those schools? Ekinsu

    Hi everyone, Is there anyone who understands the application timeline indicated on UoT website? They indicate "Applicants interested in applying to one of the Sociology graduate programs need to complete an application and pay an application fee by December 1st. They must also ensure that two referees upload letters of support by the final application deadline of December 15th. Along with the online application form, the application includes: 2 academic letters of reference, one 10-25 page writing sample, a 1-page statement of interest, academic transcripts, a curriculum vitae, and english language proficiency scores (if relevant)." But Graduate Administrator in her mail says You have until the 15th of December to upload all of your supporting documents. Does she refer deadline for my referees or other documentations such as writing sample and CV? Thank you
