  1. Hey! I'm currently waiting on decisions from some Universities. I'm from NYC and I also have a 3.3 GPA, GRE V:150 Q151W:4.0, I was told that is was a low score but I still used it to apply. I have volunteer experience and work experience in preschools and in a rehabilitation center, I'm also pursuing the bilingual track. I got accepted to the University of Texas at El Paso recently, getting into grad school with a low GPA & GRE can be done! Don't let people scare you, be confident in your abilities and what you have to offer. No matter what happens, you will lead a full and happy life! best of luck to you
  2. Hello! I actually have a friend who is in the program right now! I don't know if you had your interview yet, but they ask questions about your favorite LCD undergrad course & what you liked about it. Also they ask general Qs about volunteer experiences and such! hope that helps !
  3. Hello, I am also from NYC & I just applied to TC Columbia, St. Johns, Mercy, Hofstra, University of Texas El Paso, Indiana University, Florida International University, and I'll be sending out me Pace application soon ! I haven't heard back from any but will keep you all posted!
  4. Ohh ok that’s your best bet to meet with the department and get the information straight from the source ! Good luck ?
  5. Hello Peggy, Thanks for the information I'll be applying to Lehman for the fall semester 2019!
  6. Hey! I'm currently in the process of applying to grad schools in the NYC area as well. One thing that I do know about those courses is that they aren't easy and you definitely need time to study. I don't think you can apply just yet, try taking the courses in the spring and fall and summer if they allow it. But most schools make you apply to they CSD undergraduate to take those courses. Just call/email the schools that you want to apply too first and ask! hope that helped
