I got the news today that I was accepted off the waitlist for UMSL!
I am proof that determination and persistence pay off. If you are feeling discouraged after this cycle, I just want you to know that there is hope. It might not happen on the timeline you thought it would, but please don't give up. Take time to grieve and then kick your ass into overdrive prepping for the next cycle. It's a grind, but I promise it's worth it.
I've been round these parts for three years now, and I really appreciate this supportive community. I'm excited to stick around and hopefully help others persevere and realize their dreams. I believe in all of you! I'm always here if you need to vent, have questions, or just want a buddy.

For those looking for post bac RA & research coordinator positions, I used these sites to job hunt:
    https://gupsychology.wordpress.com/
    https://psychologyjobsinternships.wordpress.com/
    https://undergrad.psychology.fas.harvard.edu/post-graduate-research-jobs
    http://clinicalpsychgradschool.org/pbacc.php
    https://psych.wustl.edu/news/psychology-research-opportunities-undergraduates-post-bacs
    https://main.hercjobs.org/jobseekers/index.cfm
I think ultimately I wound up finding my RA job on Indeed, so that's also a good place to look. I cold emailed some people with no success (I don't think it's weird to do that!) and searched career portals of hospital systems & universities I was interested in.

I spoke with Loyola on the phone and they said they sent out their first wave of decisions, if we have not heard back, our applications are still under review and we should hear back in the second wave. They had a lot of applications this year.

I think I used this site a lot when I was looking for jobs a couple years ago. https://www.hercjobs.org/  You might also want to check out open positions at specific universities (though this can be a pain if you're looking all over).

I found mine by looking at a university's "Career/Jobs Website." Just google desired university with "career/jobs," and you should find a webpage with a list of open RA positions that you can apply for.

Universities and associated medical centers are the best places to look.

Varying honestly. Depends on place in the wait list and whether it’s a cumulative waitlist or POI focused.

how a lot of people on here treat it is: if you only have waitlist answers, prep for the worst outcome and move on. If you are lucky enough to get in that’s GREAT but prep for the worst now. For example, I honestly just treat waitlists as rejections. I don’t want to play the waiting game. Faculty won’t care if I decide not to email them biweekly on status. They have a set list and if I am next up they will let me know. It’s mentally easier to have that mindset. Time will go faster and if it happens then it might feel better. Don’t sit around, don’t update the results section daily and deal with sadness if someone got in. April 15 deadline is fast approaching and the decision will be made by then.

I’m not sure if I would mention “all my schools.” In past experience, I have heard that holding on to more than one offer at a time is considered taboo, and this may suggest you’re planning on doing that. I would rather just be vague and say you will get back to them with a decision as quickly as you can.

I personally would email the school and express my excitement for the offer but am waiting to hear back from all schools before making any final decisions.

Is the social immediately following the interview? Then you just wear the same thing. If there's time in between, I think you should feel free the wear what you wore to your interview, or something more business casual (I'd avoid jeans).

And unrelate but re: suits- Brooks Brothers is having a massive sale rn. Yes, it's expensive, but if you're looking to invest in a nice suit, they have some great deals.

Does anyone know when Eastern Kentucky (Clinical PsyD) sent out their interview invites and/or when the actual interviews were? I tried looking at last year's results page but found nothing about invites or interviews. TIA

Can we just talk about how frustrating it is to get emails for the schools you applied to and it ends up just being about general campus information and updates lol like great! thanks! none of this matters unless you let me in! Way to mess with my emotions lol ??

The field is VERY small. Don't be the person who accepts an interview and then backs out (you only screw the school and other applicants that way). This has happened in a few cases I know, and word travels FAST. You basically black-ball yourself out of some prominent circles in your future profession, as doing this can ripple out to internship, post-doc, and beyond. I like to practice the "how would I feel if someone did to me what I am about to do" rule.

If you know there is no way in hell you'd want to go there, don't accept the invite to interview. My guess is it's a possibility for you and worthwhile to interview in case you like it more than you'd expect or want it as a back up plan. If you get an invite from another school, reschedule with the second school (even if it's a higher choice for you). Everyone gets that the best applicants will get a lot of interviews, so these things happen. Only on a few occasions have I heard of programs refusing a student to interview via skype or come a different day, and frankly those programs are not the types of programs I think most people would want to go to anyways, as being flexible within reason is an essential aspect that you need your PhD program to be.
