  1. ahh right. I am not familiar of the other MSW's and the admissions grades. Wishing you well!
  2. I am not 100% sure but I thought that if you were just finishing an undergrad you could give them an updated transcript? I would reach out to Angela for more direct advice.
  3. Hi there! Keep in mind that different schools use different calculations when calculating admission cut-offs. UofT 2 year MSW just looks at your last year. "1. Candidates for admission to the Two-Year MSW Full-Time Program require an appropriate bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, and shall have achieved at least a mid-B or better in the final year of full-time study or equivalent, in senior level courses (300 or 400 level)." Is 71-74 your cgpa? or last year?
  4. Nope. Have not heard. Please do let us know the response if you send an email! Good luck to everyone waiting.
  5. oh cool! Can you please send the URL? I would love to check it out.
  6. Hi there!! Where did you see the number of first choice candidates being 480? Did you email them? Thanks!
  7. Grad cafe results page. If you go to the top of the page, to the left you'll see it!
  8. Hi! Did anyone hear from UofT? Theres an acceptance on the results page!
  9. So I am not 100% sure about this but I am on the MSW forum and some students who were accepted into the MSW said that on ACORN their accounts showed an offer on the ACORN dashboard. Not sure if this happens simultaneously to SGS but I did read on another forum that at times ACORN updates before SGS. Once again, this is just me reading from other peoples experiences! I do hope we hear back this week! Fingers crossed!
  10. Hi there, Taken straight from OISE's website: "Professional Certification: The MEd in Counselling Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy field, is a recognized education and training program in psychotherapy by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Please see the CRPO website for additional information regarding registration. The program of study provides students with the basic preparation for certification as a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA)." So once you complete the program you would apply for registration with CRPO.
  11. Hi there! Congrats!! Can you tell us for what program!
  12. Thanks for sharing! Best of luck in the program.
  13. congrats to those who have heard!!! How exciting. I wonder when the rest of us 2 years will hear? If I wasn't checking obsessively before I am now!! hahah
  14. Hi Everyone! I am curious for those that are applying to 2 year UofT MSW, is this your first time applying? If not, when was the last time you applied? Did they give you any advice about how to improve your application?
  15. Thanks for the info! It looks like an interesting program but super competitive, also I can't really move from Toronto- the program is in Guelph.
  16. Hi everyone, wow I can't stop checking...how can I stop. Suggestions? lol Also, in regards to UOFT, can anyone explain the ACORN trick. Some other forums stated that your status on ACORN updates before SGS does. Does anyone know where on ACORN? Also, does anyone have any programs that they have applied to that will also lead you to certification as a psychotherapist? I am in Ontario. I know the McMaster one but any others?? Thanks all!!
  17. Hi! Mine just changed to under review a couple days ago for the 2 year at UofT. It will happen soon!
