Hi, I am an international student in the U.S. I was wondering if it is proper to argue for funding after you receive phd admission without funding. If so, how should I do it and start this conversation?

Hi, I heard one person I knew saying that Maryland has sent her an offer already, and the interview was in last December. I did not get anything yet from them. But I don't know whether different concentrations make decisions in different times. Which program are you applying?
Hello, I wrote email to them. The reply was quite tricky. I asked that if they sent out the interviews and if I did not received it, does it mean I do not have the chance anymore. It said that invitations have been sent to top applicants, but whether you are receiving it does not indicate admission decision. I think they are not answering my questions, but I think they did sent all invitations and if I am not receiving it, that means no.
I wrote to that askphd email, not sure if they are going to reply. I wrote to them previously, usually it took 1-2 days to hear back but I am not sure this time.
I also want to know about HDLT. Please let us know if you know anything. Since I am just being unreasonably anxious, I guess I will write to them to ask whether I should just not hoping for it anymore.
Someone in the result page said she/he received invitation to open house at Georgetown, I do not know what concentration that person applied though. But began to worry because I have not received anything. How about you?
